Stewart Urist is an experienced arts management professional with a robust background in theater operations and finance. Currently serving as General Manager at Pittsburgh Public Theater since May 2022, Stewart oversees daily operations and manages contracts with artists and vendors. Previously held the position of Executive Director at Quantum Theatre, where leadership through pandemic challenges and programming transitions was pivotal. Additional roles include Director of Finance and Administration at Pittsburgh Public Theater, and various financial and administrative positions at Ford's Theatre Society and other arts organizations. Stewart holds a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. from Kenyon College.
