Sheldon Sharpe is an experienced professional in the field of casework and banking operations, currently serving as an Income Maintenance Caseworker II – Intake for the County of Pitt since June 2022. Previously, Sheldon held a similar position at Lenoir County, NC from March 2021 to June 2022, focusing on recertification and program eligibility assessments. Before entering public service, Sheldon worked as a Banking Operations Officer at Victoria Mutual Group from February 2015 to November 2019, where responsibilities included transaction verification and monthly report completion. Additionally, Sheldon contributed to academic development as an Adjunct at The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus from September 2014 to November 2019. Educated at The University of the West Indies, Sheldon earned a Master of Science in Sociology in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2012.
