Katie Lewis has extensive experience in early childhood education and administration, currently serving as a Senior Administrator in the Office of Early Learning for Wake County Public School System since May 2023, focusing on childcare licensure and quality enhancement initiatives. As an Adjunct Instructor at Pitt Community College since August 2017 and previously as a Regional Consultant for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from February 2018 to May 2023, Katie has contributed significantly to educational development. Prior roles included Director of Preschool Programs, Preschool Program Specialist, Itinerant Preschool Teacher, and Preschool Teacher at Johnston County Public Schools from August 2008 to January 2018. Katie holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from East Carolina University.
