Jose Amaya Portocarrero is an experienced audio professional with a diverse background in sound design, engineering, and post-production. Currently serving as a Post Production Assistant and VO editor at PitStop Productions since January 2023, Jose's previous roles include Sound Engineer at North Star Engineers, and Sound Designer at Crea Sonica Peru, where involvement included high-profile retail projects for Falabella. Notable past positions include Sound Designer at Barba Roja and Audiopost, as well as a significant tenure as Audio Engineer at Shamrock Studios, contributing to studio optimization and project quality. Additionally, Jose co-founded Tarab Studio, focusing on recording and mixing, and holds a Master of Arts in Sound Design from Leeds Beckett University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.
