Asad Anwer, MS, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Pitney Bowes Inc., a position held since July 1998. In this role, Asad leads a remote R&D team in India while collaborating with global teams across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Previous positions at Pitney Bowes include Director of Engineering, Director of Software Solutions for Pitney Bowes Commerce Cloud, and Director of Technology, where Asad focused on delivering cutting-edge software solutions. Early career experience includes roles at Siemens (now Nokia Siemens Networks) as a Senior Executive, specializing in desktop solutions for the telecom domain, and at DRDO as a Scientist, developing wargaming software for the Navy. Asad holds an MBA in Management from the University of New Haven and has certifications in Software Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, in addition to a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Allahabad.
