Jessie Young is an experienced planning and outreach professional currently serving as the Planning and Outreach Manager at Pitkin County since January 2021. Previously, Jessie held the position of Environmental Planner at Pitkin County from February 2017 to January 2018, and worked as a Planner at Design Workshop, Inc. from September 2010 to January 2017, as well as at Stan Clauson Associates from June 2008 to June 2011. Academically, Jessie earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver (2007-2009), and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Bucknell University (2002-2006), along with additional educational experience at Universidade de Coimbra in 2006-2007.
