Jenn Pelly is a seasoned writer and editor with extensive experience in music journalism. Currently serving as a Contributing Editor, Associate Editor, and Staff Writer at Pitchfork since October 2011, Jenn has also been active as a freelancer since February 2006, contributing as a reporter and critic to notable publications including The New York Times and Los Angeles media outlets. In addition to writing, Jenn has curated music events at venues such as MoMA PS1, Silent Barn, and Basilica Hudson, and organized Pitchfork's Northside Festival showcases from 2013 to 2017. Previous roles include DJ and Manager at WNYU Radio and working as a fact checker for esteemed magazines like Vanity Fair, Vogue, Bon Appétit, and Allure. Jenn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, English, and American Literature from New York University and has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
