Nigel Allen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in Progress OpenEdge software and database management. As the founder and director of technology at Pitchfork Solutions since November 2016, Nigel focuses on system monitoring and providing expert consulting services to clients across the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to this role, Nigel serves as Principal at Electronic Document Registry Systems (EDRS), overseeing business development and technical project leadership. Previous roles include a contract software developer at RACQ, where over 30 years of experience was applied, and senior consultant at Prosmart Consulting, specializing in Progress Software's technologies. Nigel has also contributed significantly at Progress Software, where responsibilities included opening the Brisbane office and managing pre-sales activities, as well as serving as Technical Director at IBG Integrated Business Graphics, leading the development of pioneering software solutions.
