Eric DeCaires has extensive work experience in cost estimation and controlling. Eric most recently worked at Piston Automotive as the Director of Engineering Cost Estimating. Prior to that, they were the Director of Cost Controlling & Price Recovery at Pace Industries, where they successfully recovered $15 million in sales prices concessions. Eric also implemented document control procedures and created a data-driven methodology for cost application. Eric previously held various roles at Faurecia, including Director of Cost Estimating and Acquisition Controlling, Costing Manager, and Senior Cost Engineer. Eric has experience in auditing production costs, developing labor timing standards, and estimating material costs. Earlier in their career, Eric worked as a National Account Manager at Inteligente Technologies and as a Management Trainee at Cintas.

Eric DeCaires earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Business Administration and Management, General from Northland College. During their time at Northland College, they also pursued a minor in Sociology. After completing their undergraduate studies, Eric went on to attend the Wisconsin School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Technology Strategy & Product Management. Eric attended Wisconsin School of Business from 2008 to 2010.
