Chris Hunt serves as the Chief Technology Officer at GEN3 since June 2020 and is also the Founder and CTO of Pireta Ltd, established in April 2017 to harness patented technology for e-textiles. Previously, Chris held the CTO position at Gen3 Systems Limited from October 2016 to September 2017, focusing on innovation and technology development, and was the Director and Owner of CEITEX Ltd during the same period, overseeing scientific consultancy and research initiatives. From February 1995 to September 2016, Chris was a Pension Trustee at the National Physical Laboratory and contributed significantly as the Science Leader for Electronics Interconnects, where responsibilities included team development and leading international standards activities. Educationally, Chris holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Surrey, obtained between 1983 and 1987.
