Marcus Topping currently serves as an Investment Banking Associate in the Financial Services Group at Piper Sandler since August 2020. Previously, Marcus held the position of Investment Banking Analyst at Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. from June 2019 to August 2019 and completed an internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at The Krause Fund in 2018. During that internship, Marcus focused on analyzing the communications sector for investment recommendations and constructed various financial models. Other experience includes a role as a Commercial Banking Intern at U.S. Bank and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, earned in 2019.
