Madli Tammel started their work experience in 2016 as an intern at the IT and Development Centre at the Estonian Ministry of the Interior (SMIT). Madli then became an assistant at the same company from October 2016 to May 2017.

In 2017, Madli joined the Estonian Defence Forces where they worked as a document specialist from June 2017 to June 2018. Madli then took on the role of document and COMSEC specialist from June 2018 to April 2020. From April 2020 to October 2021, they worked as a COMSEC specialist.

Currently, Madli Tammel is employed at Pipedrive as an INFOSEC Risk Analyst starting from November 2021.

Madli Tammel obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Madli completed their studies between 2012 and 2016. Additionally, they have earned certifications in ISO/IEC 27001 Provisional Auditor - Information Security from PECB in March 2023 and COMSEC System Engineering from NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) in July 2021.
