Ágata Carvalho de Pinho has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 with a role as Content Creation and Social Media Management for Festas de Lisboa'10 at Wake Up! Consultoria em Comunicação Integrada. In 2013, they worked as Customer Support for EDP - Energias de Portugal at Randstad. From 2014 to 2014, they volunteered with the European Commission in Poland, where they worked with children, teenagers, and families at the Szansa association, also assisting with communication and multimedia coverage. Ágata then interned at RUPEAL as an IEFP Intern from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Ágata began working as Backoffice for EDP - Energias de Portugal at Randstad. Ágata continued their career at Pipedrive, starting as a Customer Solutions Expert from 2017 to 2018. Ágata then progressed to the role of Support Engineer from 2018 to 2022. Afterwards, they became a Senior Support Engineer from 2022 to 2022 before assuming their most recent position as a Junior Software Developer, starting in July 2022 at Pipedrive.

Ágata Carvalho de Pinho completed a Licenciatura degree in Ciências da Comunicação - variante Cinema e Televisão from Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they pursued a professional course, Curso de Realização (I), at Restart - Creative Education. In 2007 and 2008, they also completed a Professional course in Curso Geral de Audiovisuais at Restart - Creative Education. Later, from 2010 to 2011, Ágata Carvalho de Pinho obtained a Master's Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema - IPL.
