Ian Gelenter has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Ian began their career in 1994 as an Account Manager for Halyard Health, where they were responsible for Operating Room Sales, Corporate Account Partnerships, and Field Sales Development. Ian then moved to Owens & Minor in 2000, where they were a Strategic Account Manager. In 1998, they became a Territory Manager for Boston Scientific. In 2003, they accepted a role as Manager of Business Development for North America at Metrologic. In 2006, they were promoted to Director of Business Development at INFOLOGIX, and in 2007 they were promoted to Senior Director of Global Business Development at the same company. In 2008, they joined CDW as a Strategic Business Development Executive, and in 2010 they joined Pioneer Solution, Inc. as Senior Vice President, followed by two additional promotions to Vice President, Healthcare and Executive Director, Healthcare.
Ian Gelenter obtained their BA in Communication from Rutgers University between 1985 and 1989. Ian then went on to receive a Large Account Management Process - LAMP from the Miller-Heiman Group in 1996. In 1995, they completed a Strategic Selling course from the same school. In 1994, they completed a Customer Oriented Selling course from Vital Learning. Ian also completed a SPIN Selling course from Huthwaite International between 1992 and 1993, as well as a Professional Selling Skills 1 and 2 course from Miller-Heiman Group between 1991 and 1992.
