Phil Scarfi is an experienced professional with a diverse background in firefighting and technology. Currently serving as a Firefighter for the New York City Fire Department since December 2018 and also as a Firefighter at Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department since July 2012, Phil demonstrates commitment to public service. As the Founder and Software Engineer at Pioneer Mobile Applications, Phil has been designing and creating mobile applications since June 2012. Notably, Phil contributed to the mobile development team at BuzzFeed from May 2014 to September 2016, focusing on both the BuzzFeed app and BuzzFeed News app. Additionally, Phil owned and operated S&K Entertainment, providing event entertainment services from early 2008 to mid-2016. Phil's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Business Management as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed in 2016.
