Emmanuel Turlay is the Founder and CEO of Airtrain AI, a platform launched in April 2022 that specializes in no-code fine-tuning and evaluation for Large Language Models. Prior to this, Emmanuel held various roles at Cruise from June 2018 to April 2022, including Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead for the Machine Learning Platform. Emmanuel's experience also includes positions at Instacart as a Machine Learning Engineer and Technical Lead Manager, as well as roles at Milestone Project Inc., WeLoveWords, and official.fm, contributing to software engineering and product design. Academic credentials include a PhD in Fundamental Physics from Paris-Sud University, and a background in post-doctoral research at CERN, along with teaching physics and programming courses.
