Alexander Mistakidis is a seasoned professional in the gaming industry, currently serving as Co-Founder at Double Dusk since June 2024, focusing on innovative game development. As a Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund since January 2018, Alexander has played a crucial role in leading investment decisions for numerous startups, particularly in games, entertainment, and consumer sectors, contributing to the firm’s status as a prominent seed stage venture capital firm globally. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Technical Game Designer for VALORANT at Riot Games from October 2021 to March 2024, where Alexander utilized a blend of skills to enhance gameplay and character development. Additionally, Alexander was CEO and Game Director at Gamelynx from January 2016 to December 2020, overseeing a 10-person team and delivering 3 successful products that attracted over a million users. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and completed Y Combinator's startup accelerator program in 2017.
