Heather Stevenson has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Heather began their career in 2002 as a Tax Collector at the Regional Income Tax Agency, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they transitioned to the healthcare field and worked as an RN-ICU at Lake Health for one year. Heather then joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2012, where they worked as a BSN, RN-Medical ICU from 2012 to 2015, and later as an MSN, RN in Radiology from 2015 to 2018. Following their time at the Cleveland Clinic, Heather joined Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio in 2018 as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Director of Nursing and Ultrasound Services, a role they held until March 2023. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Consultant at Wolters Kluwer Health before transitioning to their current position as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Pinnacle Fertility, Inc. starting in June 2022.
Heather Stevenson MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC has an extensive education history focused on the field of nursing. Heather began their education at Kent State University, where they obtained their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from 2008 to 2011. Building on this foundation, Heather pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from 2011 to 2013 at the same institution.
With their passion for women's health, Heather went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Women's Health Nurse/Nursing from Kent State University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they also achieved certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from The National Certification Corporation, obtaining the credential in July 2017.
Continuing their commitment to professional growth and staying current with advances in healthcare, Heather is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Informatics from Kent State University, a program they are expected to complete from 2023 to 2025.
