Yehudi Mercado is an accomplished writer and cartoonist with a diverse range of experience in the animation and publishing industries. Currently, Yehudi serves as a writer at DreamWorks Animation, while also holding director positions at both Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. Additionally, Yehudi contributes as a cartoonist for DC Comics, HarperCollins Publishers, and Oni Press, where Yehudi is recognized for creating the SCI-FU series. Past roles include freelance writing for Pinna and serving as a cartoonist for Epic for Kids. Yehudi's early career includes a position as a storyboard artist for the DC Super Hero Girls animated series. Yehudi holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
