Yifan Xu has work experience in multiple companies. They started working at Sunyard System Engineering Co., Ltd. in 2014 as an intern programmer, where they developed Java web applications using various technologies such as Spring, Struts2, Hibernate, and more. They also worked on tasks involving SSH framework, Tomcat web app server, MySQL database, JSP, JavaScript, and Ajax. In 2017, Yifan Xu joined Hangzhou Qunhe Information Technology Co., Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they remained until 2021. Finally, in 2021, they joined PingCAP as a developer.

Yifan Xu pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Software Engineering from Xidian University, starting in 2011 and completing in 2015. Subsequently, between 2015 and 2017, Yifan Xu attended The University of Texas at Dallas to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science.
