Alex Shang has extensive work experience in the technology and analytics field. Alex is currently serving as the VP of Technology at Pineapple since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Technology & Analytics at Pineapple from April 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Pineapple, Alex worked at Reliance Home Comfort as an Analytics Manager for Product Marketing from 2020 to 2021.

From 2012 to 2020, Alex held various roles at Xplornet Communications, including Network Business Analytics Manager and Marketing Manager for Subscriber Reporting.

Alex began their career at Bell in 2001, where they held Strategy, Analytical, and Reporting positions until 2012.

In 2006, they worked at XM Canada as a Report Analyst and Database Developer for a year.

Throughout their career, Alex has gained valuable experience in technology, analytics, marketing, and strategy roles.

From 1998 to 2001, Alex Shang attended Queen's University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Statistics.
