Derek Madden is an experienced software developer with a strong background in backend PHP development, currently working at Pineapple Co since February 2022. At Pineapple Co, Derek has designed and modified over 25 software systems, improving page speed by more than 20% and specializing in API integration for ecommerce platforms. Prior experience includes a role at The Home Loan Expert LLC., where Derek focused on API integration for marketing and CRM systems, and at Mission of Hope, where Derek led the development of an asset management system. Derek also held positions in logistics coordination and program management within Mission of Hope, alongside previous software development experience at Weldon, Williams & Lick, Inc. and guest services at Comfort Inn & Suites. Derek holds two associate degrees from Carl Albert State College in computer technology and computer information systems.
