Heather Achter is an accomplished theatre educator currently serving as the Upper School Theatre Teacher at Pine Lake Preparatory Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Heather taught theatre at Cleveland County Schools for a decade, directing multiple productions and receiving the NCTC Excellence in Directing Award in 2013. Heather's directing repertoire includes award-winning musicals and distinguished plays, alongside experience as an adjunct theatre professor at Belmont Abbey College. Additional contributions to the theatre community include roles as director, assistant director, and counselor in various camps and performances. Educationally, Heather holds an MFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Theatre from Belmont Abbey College.
