Luca Vergano is a procurement and materials expert currently serving as the Procurement Lead Raw Material at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd since July 2020, overseeing a team responsible for a procurement portfolio exceeding 50 million CHF and leading strategic negotiations. Previous roles at Pilatus included Procurement Manager Raw Material and Materials & Process Engineer, where Luca Vergano managed the procurement of various materials and contributed to cross-functional projects. Earlier experience includes an internship at ABB focusing on KPI dashboard development and a Master Student position at IBM Research Zurich, where significant advancements in next-generation transistor measurements were achieved. Luca Vergano holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from EPFL and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
