Thomas J. Bauters II currently serves as a Procurement Forester at Pike Lumber Company, Inc., a position held since May 2010, following their role as a summer intern in the Forestry Department. During this tenure, Thomas acquired a range of skills, including conducting forest inspections, managing invasive species, computing timber values, and creating topographical maps. In addition to industry experience, Thomas held leadership roles as President and Treasurer of both the Forestry and Natural Resources Student Council and the Society of American Foresters Purdue Chapter while attending Purdue University, where a Bachelor's degree in Forestry and a double degree in Forestry and Wildlife were earned.
