Davis Haygood currently serves as an Investigator at the District Attorney’s Office for the 14th Judicial District in Mississippi since January 2024. Prior to this role, Davis held the position of Captain at the Pike County Sheriff's Department from January 2020 to January 2024. Between July 2013 and December 2019, Davis was the Chief of Police at Southwest Mississippi Community College, and from March 1998 to July 2013, the career at Pike County Sheriff's Department included roles as Chief Detective, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, and Patrol Officer.
