Gil Dabah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software security and engineering. Currently serving as Co-Founder of Piiano and a Crew Member at Jibe Ventures since 2021, Gil's previous roles include Researcher at Taking Time Out, where notable achievements included publishing over 20 security bugs and identifying a design flaw bug class leading to significant recognition from Microsoft. As Senior Director and Head of Software Security at Magic Leap from 2016 to 2019, Gil managed global product security for OS and cloud engineering while overseeing 500-700 engineers and leading a dedicated team of 25 security experts. Gil founded NorthBit, which was acquired by Magic Leap, providing high-quality software research in engineering and security. Additional experience includes roles at companies such as intigua, as a Tech Lead, and as a Software Engineer and IT Security Expert as an Independent Contractor and at Digicash. Career beginnings at the IDF included positions as a researcher and developer.
