Philippe Dumas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Philippe started their career at Hermès as a Purchaser and Packaging Development specialist from 1989 to 1994. Then, they worked at Leo Laboratories as a Purchasing Manager for raw materials and packaging from 1994 to 1997. Following that, they joined ISOCHEM SAS as a Purchaser, responsible for raw materials and packaging, from 1997 to 1999. Philippe then took on the role of Purchasing Manager at ISOCHEM SAS, overseeing international raw material purchasing for multiple sites from 1999 to 2002. Philippe Dumas later joined Pierre Fabre in 2003, where they took on various roles including Purchasing Director in Gaillac and Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) for Natural Raw Material Chemicals Intermediates and Group Leader Buyer in Energy and Waste. Philippe had responsibilities in international purchasing, establishing raw material supply chains, and managing a wide range of references and suppliers.
Philippe Dumas completed their education at the Université de Bordeaux from 1982 to 1988, where they obtained a DEA de Science in Chemistry and Natural Science. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Industrial Purchasing at KEDGE Business School from 1988 to 1989.
