Lisa Haas Musiol has over 19 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on academic operations, faculty development, and student success. Lisa currently serves as the Vice President of Education at PIERCE MORTUARY COLLEGES INC. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Dean at Resurrection University, where they built the department and led cross-functional teams to improve student support services. Lisa also has experience as an Assistant Professor and Director of Learning Solutions at Colorado Technical University, where they taught and facilitated orientation classes for students. Lisa has also held roles as an Academic Services Manager and Team Lead of Student Advising at Colorado Technical University, where they chaired institution effectiveness and administered student advisory services. Additionally, Lisa served as the Director of Experiential Learning at Benedictine University, where they built a competency-based experiential learning center. Before that, they were the Dean of Students at American InterContinental University and worked as an Admissions Advisor at the same institution. Lisa began their career as a Resident Assistant and Apartment Intern at St. Norbert College.

Lisa Haas Musiol obtained their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University in 2015. Lisa also holds a B.A. in English from St. Norbert College and an M.A. Ed. in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Effective Teaching Practices and Embracing Diversity in your Classroom from ACUE (Association of College and University Educators). Additionally, in 2014, they became a Reiki Practitioner, completing Levels 1 and 2.
