Cary Burcham is an established healthcare executive with extensive experience in nursing leadership across multiple healthcare systems. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Piedmont Healthcare since November 2015, Cary oversees two acute care hospitals, an Outpatient Oncology Center, and a Children's Hospital. Prior roles include Chief Nurse for a complexity 1A medical center at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Director responsible for three hospitals at Phoebe Putney Health System. Additionally, Cary has contributed to the University of South Florida College of Nursing as an Advisory Board Member and served as Chief Nursing Officer for Shriners Children's, a 22-hospital healthcare system. Currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership at Columbia International University, Cary also holds education from the University of South Florida and Villanova University.
