Joanne Michaud-Young currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical and Director of Clinical Trials at Breathe BioMedical, where efforts focus on engaging academic and clinical leaders to develop transformative studies in breath analytics. Joanne's extensive experience includes consulting, managing territory sales for GSK's inhaled triple therapy for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and leading a provincial framework for COPD management in New Brunswick as a Chronic Disease Consultant. Prior roles include Research Assistant/Coordinator at Nova Scotia Health Authority, where research aimed to improve quality of life for advanced COPD patients, and Care Coordinator at the INSPIRED COPD Outreach Program. Joanne's career began as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a post-diploma in Respiratory Therapy from Dalhousie University, a diploma in Respiratory Therapy from NAIT, and ongoing Master's studies in Public Health Education and Promotion at the University of Alberta.
