Garrett Lyang has over 15 years of work experience in sales. Garrett began their career in 2007 as an Inside Sales Representative for the Western US at Infoblox. Garrett then progressed to Inside Sales Manager for the Western Region and Team Lead, where they coached and developed opportunity development representatives. In 2014, they moved to Netskope as a Sr. Inside Sales Rep, where they cold called CIOs and CISOs of fortune 1000 accounts and closed the fastest deal in Netskope history from point of engagement, 40 days. Garrett then moved to RedSeal, Inc. as an Inside Sales Representative in 2017, followed by Big Switch Networks as an Inside Sales Representative in 2018, where they educated Data Center Directors, Network Directors and CISOs on software defined networking. In 2020, they joined Treasure Data as an Inside Sales Manager North America and Account Development Lead-North America, where they work with tier 1 accounts to help them gain superior business intelligence from their customer data. Finally, in 2022, they joined Pica8, Inc. as an Account Executive.
Garrett Lyang attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1994 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Psychology.
