Jorge Cápona has a diverse range of work experience. Jorge started their career as an intern at Facter, where they worked on microcontroller programming, circuit design, and equipment maintenance. Jorge then joined Aplik S.A. as a Development Engineer, focusing on computer vision, communications, and electrical systems for mining and industry projects. Jorge also worked as an Assistant of Industrial Control Laboratory and Industrial Process Laboratory at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, where they gained experience in PLC programming, process automation, and robotic manipulators programming.

In 2011, Jorge returned to Aplik S.A. as an intern, conducting research on mathematical models for industrial processes and patenting investigations. Jorge later co-founded IPROC and participated in the Start-Up Chile program as an entrepreneur, working to bootstrap their startup.
