Sébastien Bratières is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as Managing Director at Pi School and Director of Artificial Intelligence at Translated since July 2017. Notable achievements include leading large R&D projects such as LLM4EO for the European Space Agency, and launching the EU RIA Meetween focusing on foundation models for speech. Sébastien has held various academic and advisory roles, including membership on the Advisory Board of the Italian Association for Machine Learning, and has been an invited lecturer at LUISS Business School and Ecole Centrale Paris. With a PhD in Statistical Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge, Sébastien has a robust background in both research and industry applications, having contributed to high-impact projects in multiple organizations since 2003.
