Andreas Schaeffer is an experienced procurement and commodity manager with a comprehensive background in the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as Global Commodity Manager at PI (Physik Instrumente) Group since July 2021, Andreas previously held positions such as Lead Buyer for Corporate Procurement at CTDI Europe and Commodity Purchasing roles at SMP Automotive Global. Additional experience includes a position as Purchasing Commodity Manager at Visteon Corporation and a lengthy tenure at Johnson Controls, where roles encompassed Purchasing Commodity Manager, Senior Technical Expert, and System Engineer. Andreas holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechatronics from Dual University Karlsruhe and a University Entrance Diploma from WSG Rheinstetten.
