Hiroaki Watanabe currently serves as the representative director at 株式会社MIWA Akerun Technologies, a joint venture with 美和ロック focused on smart lock technology. Since September 2014, Watanabe has held the position of director at Photosynth, Inc., where the Akerun smart lock is developed. Previous experience includes roles in business development at Spotlight and Softbank Mobile, as well as a sales position at Softbank Telecom. Watanabe obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economic, Social Science, and Laws from Saitama University between 2008 and 2011.
