Sergio Luis Carrasco Ortiz

Sergio Luis Carrasco Ortiz has a diverse work experience. Sergio Luis started as an Administrative Assistant at SEROLO S.L in 2010, where they handled ticket sales and provided customer assistance. In 2011, they worked as a Lab Technician at OMS-SACEDE S.A, responsible for collecting and analyzing samples and generating performance reports.

From 2016 to 2018, Sergio worked as an R&D Engineer at Nanophotonics Technology Center, participating in the development of the HIDRASENSE project. During this time, they collaborated with Iberdrola Generación S.A.

In 2018, Sergio served as a Project Leader at Cecotec Innovaciones S.L., focusing on the research, creation, and improvement of consumer electronic products. Sergio Luis also worked on multidisciplinary simulations.

Between 2019 and 2020, Sergio held two roles at Altran. First, as a Functional Testing Engineer/Consultant for Ericsson S.A, they designed and implemented tests and modified frameworks to support performance testing. Since December 2020, Sergio has been a Laboratory Manager Engineer at Photonicsens, where they specialize in designing, assembling, and operating high-precision robots for active alignments between electronic and optical components. Sergio Luis also works on software development, experimentation for optoelectronic devices, and product development.

Sergio Luis Carrasco Ortiz completed their education at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Sergio Luis first pursued a degree in Ingeniería Técnica Industrial, specializing in Química Industrial from 2008 to 2011. Sergio Luis then continued their studies and obtained a degree in Ingeniería Industrial, specializing in Ingeniería Superior from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Sergio also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they achieved the Grau Elemental certification from the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià. In 2015, they also received the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge. Lastly, in February 2018, they achieved the Nivell de suficiència (C1) de coneiximents de valencià certification from UPV.
