Astrid Gundersen has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and production management within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors, currently serving as Regulatory Affairs Director at Photocure ASA since September 1998, with a progression through various leadership roles including Production Director and Project Manager. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Scientific Officer at the Norwegian Medicines Agency from September 1994 to September 1998. Astrid holds a PhD in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and multiple degrees in Chemistry (Biochemistry) from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Early education was completed at Gjøvik gymnas.
