Giorgos Bagourakis has experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Giorgos started their career in 2010 at Specifar Pharmaceuticals, where they worked as a Production Supervisor until 2015. In 2015, they joined Elpen Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. and held the position of Formulation Development Senior Scientist until 2021. In March 2021, they were promoted to the role of Formulation Development Manager at the same company.

Giorgos Bagourakis holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the same university.
