Sylvia Rockwood serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Phoenixville Area School District since December 2018. Prior to this role, Sylvia held the position of Director of Human Resources at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle from 2016 to March 2018, and at Chambersburg Area School District from August 1998 to March 2016, where additional roles included Director of Information Services and School Librarian. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Juniata College.
