Andy Lander is an experienced Automation Engineer currently working at Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC since July 2022, focusing on automating stamping processes. Previously, Andy held the same title at Magna International (Decostar) from March 2010 to June 2022, where responsibilities included improving automated processes and facilitating preventative maintenance. Andy's career in robotics began at Applied Manufacturing Tech. Inc. in 1998, and subsequent roles included positions at Alternative Robotics INC., General Motors Corporation, and Extreme Automation Inc. Andy's expertise encompasses integrating robotic systems, troubleshooting robot/PLC communication issues, and enhancing manufacturing efficiency. Andy earned an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technologies from The University of Akron between 1996 and 1998.
