Mylen Samonte has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Mylen began their career in 1999 as a Junior Budget Clerk at LAPANDAY AGRICULTURAL & DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Mylen then worked as a Bookkeeper at First Oriental Packaging Inc. in 2001. In 2002, they joined Aboitiz Marketing Corp. as a Counter Sales Staff for two years. In 2004, they served as a Finance and Admin Assistant at JPB Trans Orient Shipping Corp. In 2005, they worked as an Internal Auditor at Yahong Group of Restaurant and concurrently as a Payroll Assistant at Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc.(PCPPI). In 2007, they continued their career at Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc.(PCPPI) as an Assistant HR Manager until present. In 2017, they transitioned to Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. where they currently hold the role of Head of HR Operations/HRBP. Through the various roles they have held, Mylen Samonte has gained extensive experience in HR operations, finance, sales, and auditing.
Mylen Samonte has a strong educational background, with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accountancy from the University of the Immaculate Conception, which was obtained between 1995 and 1999. In 2019, they pursued further education and completed a Masters in Management degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of the Philippines. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Influencing Others" and "Leading Virtual Meetings" from LinkedIn in March 2020.
