Susan Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Susan began their career in 1997 as a Student Engineer at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. Susan then worked as a Student Engineer at Datex-Ohmeda in 1998, followed by a position as a Student Engineer at the Advanced Technology and Research Corporation.

In the year 2000, Susan joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Over the course of their career at Northrop Grumman, they held various roles including Operations Program Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor, and Operations Program Engineer again. Susan stayed with the company until 2007, when they became a Program Manager.

Since 2016, Susan has been working as the Director of Operations at Phoenix Operations Group.
