Dave Knospe has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dave has recently worked as a JLCCTC I&T Engineer at Phoenix Defense, LLC since March 2021. Prior to that, from October 2019 to February 2021, they served as a Military Subject Matter Expert at Cole Engineering Services, Inc.

Before joining Cole Engineering Services, Inc., Dave worked at Leidos as an SE Core Integration and Test Engineer from July 2014 to October 2019. Dave was responsible for US Army Mission Command terrain database testing and served as a WARSIM SNE test engineer.

In this role, they developed descriptions of the battle space for software engineers and created computer-generated forces scenarios for US Army Training, Research, and Analysis efforts. Dave also worked as a Project Manager at Riptide from August 2008 to January 2009.

Dave also had a long tenure at Dynamics Research Corporation, where they worked as a Knowledge Acquisition/Engineer Team Lead from April 2001 to July 2008. Dave led a team of military subject matter experts and collaborated with software engineers to describe military tactics, techniques, and procedures for a constructive simulation project.

Prior to that, they worked as a Scenario Writer/Developer at Northrop Grumman from September 1997 to March 2001 and owned Surveillance Services from January 1996 to September 1997.

Overall, Dave Knospe has gained extensive experience in various engineering and military subject matter roles throughout their career.

Dave Knospe attended the College of DuPage from 1979 to 1981, where they did not obtain a degree. Dave then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1981 to 1985.
