Chris Morgan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Chris worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Phoenix Defense, LLC since October 2019, while their previous role at the company was Chief Operations Officer from October 2017 to October 2019.

Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Consultant, providing managerial and financial expertise for government contracting accounting compliance, system conversion and implementation, and general financial ad hoc project services. This self-employment lasted from April 2011 to October 2018, and their clients included Natives of Kodiak, Inc.

From February 2010 to March 2011, Chris Morgan served as the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation, a privately owned Alaska corporation with sales of $300M and over 1,900 employees. The company has diverse business interests in construction, government support services, marine freight, and other services in the local community.

Furthermore, they worked as the Vice President Finance for Harbor Enterprises, Inc. from September 2006 to January 2010. This company is a privately owned petroleum wholesaler and retailer operating in Central and Southeast Alaska, with sales of $360M and 9 remote terminals.

Prior to that, Chris Morgan founded A&F Solutions LLC in April 2004 and served as its Owner/Managing Partner until September 2006. This company provided financial and operational support to Alaskan corporations and mid-size companies, with services including government contracting compliance, accounting, accounting system implementation, and financial management.

From August 1998 to December 2003, they held multiple roles at Arctic Slope World Services (ASWS), a privately owned Alaska Corporation specializing in base radar facility operations, air combat training support for the Air Forces, and generating sales of $90M. ASWS is a first-tier subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, a $2B company.

Chris Morgan's work experience also includes serving as the Accounting Manager for Barrow Utilities & Electric Cooperative, Inc., a non-profit multiple utility servicing Barrow, Alaska, from March 1993 to August 1998. The utility sales were $10M, providing electric generation, electric distribution, natural gas distribution, water distribution, and waste water treatment.

Lastly, they started their career at American Stores in December 1982 as an Internal Auditor. American Stores was subsequently purchased by Albertsons, and Chris worked at their retail stores during high school and college before being promoted to the corporate office. Their tenure with the company lasted until March 1993.

Chris Morgan attended the University of Arizona from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
