Alicia Chavez is an experienced art professional currently serving as the Associate Registrar of Collections at Phoenix Art Museum since April 2022, where responsibilities include registration and collection management of the museum’s permanent collection. Previous roles include Associate Registrar for Exhibitions and Assistant Registrar for Exhibitions at Dallas Museum of Art, focusing on exhibition organization and budget development. Earlier experience includes positions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where Alicia supported TMS database users, and at various roles at Phoenix Art Museum, including Barcoding Project Associate and Visitor Services Associate. Educational qualifications include an MLitt in Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with Museum Studies from Arizona State University.
