Alan Behr has a strong background in intellectual property and commercial law. Alan currently works at Phillips Nizer LLP as a partner, heading the Fashion & Luxury Goods Practice. Alan has a diverse clientele including businesses in publishing, entertainment, fashion, consumer products, and financial services. Prior to their current role, Alan was a partner at Alston & Bird from 2000 to 2012. Alan also served as the General Counsel at W-Technologies for a few months in 2000 and as the Chief Legal Officer at Atari from 1995 to 2000.
Alan Behr attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1972 to 1976, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Alan then went on to study at Columbia Law School from 1976 to 1979, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Law.
