Mohamed Najem

Référent Pédagogique at Philharmonie de Paris

Mohamed Najem is a distinguished musician and educator with extensive experience in clarinet performance and instruction. Currently serving as Référent pédagogique at Philharmonie de Paris and Professor of clarinet for Démos - Philharmonie de Paris, Mohamed has been actively performing as a clarinetist and group leader with the Mohamed Najem quartet since 2016, showcasing a unique blend of Eastern and contemporary music influenced by jazz. As a freelance musician, Mohamed has collaborated with various artists and participated in numerous recordings, contributing to notable projects spanning from 2005 to 2014. Previous roles include clarinetist with the Palestine National Orchestra and leadership positions at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music. Mohamed holds multiple music degrees from respected institutions, including a Diplôme d'état de professeur de musique from École Supérieure Musique et Danse Hauts de France.
