Liza Rangel is a skilled education professional with extensive experience in program management and teaching. Currently serving as the Senior Program Manager for Middle Grades Initiatives at the Philadelphia Education Fund since May 2022, Liza previously worked as a Lead College Access Coordinator and held various teaching roles, including English Language Arts and Spanish Immersion Teacher at The School District of Philadelphia from August 2019 to May 2022, and English Language Arts Teacher at the Charter High School for Architecture and Design in 2018-2019. Liza's early career included a position as an Admissions and Financial Aid Administrative Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor with American Reads. Liza holds a Master’s of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Grant Writing Certificate from Temple University, and a Bachelor's of Science in English Education with a minor in Sociology from New York University.
