Simon Rice is an accomplished sports physiotherapist currently serving as the Vice President of Athlete Care for the Philadelphia 76ers since November 2020. In this role, Simon is responsible for establishing a professional, evidence-based approach to player care, overseeing various aspects including athletic training, physical therapy, and sports science. Prior experience includes positions as Head Physiotherapist for Brumbies Rugby, where Simon managed injury assessment and rehabilitation for contracted players, and roles with the ACT Academy of Sport and national teams in volleyball and hockey. Additionally, Simon has worked in performing arts as Head Physiotherapist for productions such as "Once" and "Chariots of Fire." Educational qualifications include a Master of Sports Physiotherapy and a Master in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University and the University of Canberra, respectively.
